Shewww, there was a lot of pressure to get the website back up after it got hacked. We are really grateful to all our customers and site visitors who called us to inquire about the website and the reason why it was down. At the same time please accept our sincere apologies if this caused any inconvenience.

Now, what steps have we taken to ensure this doesn’t happen again? Well, here are a few in plain english:

• We are now using two servers to run the website. Both servers are located on totally different locations
• The same is with the MS SQL Database.
• A replication service is run to ensure both websites are synchronized at all times
• If one goes down, the other is made live and vice versa
• What if both servers go down? This is unlikely and can only happen in case both the east and west coast of USA goes down! (one server is located in the East Coast and other is located in the West Coast)

Lastly, we are keeping our fingers crossed and trying to sue our hosting service provider to compensate for the loss.

Our web server has been hacked today by a group that calls themselves as “E-commerce Kings of Pakistan”. Though our database and files had been saved, our server was flooded with dummy hits/traffic to put it down along with a failed attempt to delete the data. We are working at full speed to get the server and website back up. We apologize for the inconvenience it has caused.
